FAQ - Free Sports Picks Against The Spread

1. What is BHPicks.com

We are a sports handicapping website designed to give you the best advice on all sporting events. All of our picks are against the spread and come from one of our experienced handicappers.

2. What is a handicapper?

A person that studies and researches in order to make predictions on the results of the upcoming games.

3. What does against the spread (ATS) mean?

Against the spread is a wager that will be decided by adding points to one team or the other after the game has been played.

4. What does it mean to cover?

Winning against the point spread or covering the spread (a 6-point underdog that loses 20-17 has covered because they are getting 6-points added to their score.)

5. What is a line?

The line is the spread of terms of the game. If the terms are standard, then the line is the spread. (Redskins -7, then the line is 7)

6. What's a Moneyline?

A moneyline is equivalent to picking a team to win straight-up. There are no spreads in a moneyline wager. This doesn't pay even money! If you select the favorite team to win, you must put down more than you win. If you select the underdog to win, you put down less to win more.

7. What does over/under mean?

The over/under is a wager on the total number of points scored at the end of a game. To play the over is to play the final total will exceed the total posted by vegas. To play the under is to play the final total will fall short of the total posted by vegas.

8. What is a tease?

A tease is a modified bet meant to reduce risk to a player by offering the opportunity to bet on the point spread and/or game point totals. The spread or total is adjusted or "teased" to give a player a better chance of winning. Points given vary between sports and teasers are generally only offered on football and basketball games.

9. Do you place bets on this website?

Absolutely not! That is strictly prohibited and against the law. We are simply here to give advice to our viewers on sporting events.

10. What if I don't receieve my Premium Picks for the day?

We keep very good track of our Premium Pick members here at BHPicks. If for some reason you don't receive the link for the day atleast an hour before gametime, it is your responsibility to email us and let us know. We will always send the email but sometimes it can go to your spam folder or possibly be a problem with the email service. Very rarely is it a mistake on our part but we will always work with you to fix the problem.

11. What do the units next to your picks mean?

The units are a wagering system we use for our picks. The higher the units risked, the stronger the pick.

12. What is pick history?

The pick history page contains past and recent picks for documenting purposes. This is for our viewers to see our past picks made for that month. once we enter a new month or space fills up we will empty the pick history page.

13. What is the Premium Picks?

The Premium Picks is a service we offer that contains our strongest picks for the daily line up. Once you register you will be emailed a user name and password to the email registered with your paypal account. you will then have access to all Premium Picks for that day until 11:59PM of the date of purchase.

14. Will I win money following your picks and advice?

Yes, we have never had a losing year! We won't win every game or every day or even every week, but with good picks and money management we will always come out ahead!
